On the Fast Track: Fostering a Values-Driven Culture in the Automotive Sector
What was done
Over the past five years, we have collaborated with a leading organisation in the automotive industry to deliver a Values-driven programme. This initiative provides an interactive platform where employees can engage deeply with the company's culture, values and behaviours.
Why is it important
The programme aims to deepen employees' understanding of their role in shaping a values-centric culture in the organisation. A strong emphasis is placed on not just knowing but living and breathing the values.
Who is involved
This learning opportunity is offered to all employees, encouraging widespread participation. Facilitated several times annually, the programme enables employees to apply their insights to their professional and personal lives.
How we do it
The programme is brought to life through a mix of interactive activities and meaningful discussions, conducted either in person over one day or virtually over two half-days using MURAL, a dynamic digital collaboration tool. CreateConsulting introduces participants to various concepts including the Thinking Environment™ and the specific cultural, values and behavioural frameworks used within the organisation. The engaging, creative and playful approach of the programme helps bring to life and reinforce their corporate values.

In Closing
The response from the participants has been continuously positive, marked by enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to the company's culture.
One inspired participant said, “Thank you! I really enjoyed the session and had fun with the inspired work of art we created that represented our business values.”
During this session, participants were encouraged to use a variety of materials to create a Coat of Arms that included their Vision (Why), Values (How) and the Culture (What) they aim to achieve. A symbol that they would be proud to share and display.
Others appreciated the programme’s practical application, finding it beneficial both personally and professionally. They valued the opportunity to unpack the guiding principles that are important to their ways of working.
Reflecting on the initiative, lead facilitator Justin Kiley remarked, "This programme isn't just about understanding values; it's about making them a lived experience in the workplace. Seeing the vibrant interaction and genuine engagement by employees was inspiring. It reaffirms that when values are deeply understood and shared, they can drive meaningful action across all levels of an organisation."
